2nd Annual Paddle with the Periauger

Paddle along side this vessel and see this beautiful boat under sail in the harbor of Historic Hertford. Spend the day attending 3 different festivals and enjoy what this beautiful riverside county has to offer! Se you there!!

 

Where: Historic Hertford, NC

When: September 10, 2005, beginning a 9am

Other details: Perquimans County celebrates fall with 3 festivals: Hertford’s Indian Summer Festival- an old fashioned street fair with food crafts and entertainment;  Newbold White House Hearth and Harvest Festival- a heritage celebration of music, demonstrations and food  and the newest Winfall’s Oak Leaf Festival-a family fun day located in Winfall Landing Park. All three sites are accessible by the water!  Free shuttles will transport between the 3 venues.  Guided recreational paddles through-out the day will leave from Missing Mill Park.

 

Parking: Parking is available at Missing Mill Park on Grubb St. There is water access as well at Missing Mill Park and is within easy walking distance of the downtown festival.  Parking is available at the Hertford Municipal Docks on a first come first serve basis, where there is a cement boat ramp. Please come early so you will have easy access to the water.
