Boat for Sale:  Beautiful hand-made-wood boat for sale. Owner moving to the mountains. 17 foot, hard chine, very easy to maneuver, little drift in wind. Comes with rudder, not installed. (Owner never really felt the need for it!) The hard chine allows the paddler to steer the moving kayak by leaning. Way cool. Weighs 45 pounds.
There are two spacious hatches. No floatation gear added...not needed.
Needs a new coat of varnish for protection from sun rays and scratches.
Contact: John U. Davis, 1112 Timber Trail, Emerald Isle (between 11 and 13th streets on the sound)

Price (with rudder) for CCCKC member $650.00 ($700 to others.)
Original kit costs $790 and takes three months to complete.
So paddle now, build later. Beautiful to look at. Better to paddle.

Boat for Sale: Custom-built Chesapeake Light Craft (CLC) Mill Creek 16.5 double kayak, expertly built from a CLC kit, using the finest materials.  Boat is "schooner rigged", with two mast and sails, and a complete Balogh Sail Designs sail rig with inflatable outrigger floats, foot operated rudder and fine Harken fittings  A fast and fun boat.  Offered below cost of materials at $3250 (or $2800 with just the large main batwing sail).  I can no longer cartop this approximately 70# boat due to shoulder problems, so she must go.  Jim Brown: home (252) 393-6398, cell (252) 723-2167, e-mail whitedove0215@yahoo.com.  More pics and info at website, www.whitedove0215.com.
